With a dual background in Civil Engineering and Interior Design, Anna has followed her passion into the world of interior environments. She is skilled in generating fresh, artistic solutions for the renovation of interior spaces, including structural variations that offer diverse programming options and spatial possibilities.
Over 14 years, Anna has worked on various commercial, residential, and office interior projects both locally and internationally. She is adept at rendering and visualization, and often lends her time to mentoring less experienced team members, providing valuable guidance through a variety of interior design projects.

Human Resources Manager
Bonnie is an integral part of our team, finding and growing the most talented individuals in the industry. A multi-faceted background allows Bonnie to wear many hats in managing the human aspects of a studio with a robust talent pool and evolving priorities. She is an advocate of wholistic wellness, keeps us on our toes with weekly stretches, and laughing daily with her lively sense of humour.

Everything in our built environment shapes the memories we make and the stories we tell – from high-rises stretching above the river valley, to busy pathways through the city, to favourite cafés and bistros. Knowing that architects have a unique privilege in designing the backdrops of people’s lives is what drives Brad. On a fundamental level, Brad understands what it really takes to make a positive and memorable impact on clients, colleagues and collaborators. He sets the pace of our studio to create meaningful shifts in both the process of our design and the outcomes we achieve together with our clients, to realize truly great results time after time.
A homegrown Edmontonian, Brad sees great potential for our studio, city and province. Drawing on his 27 years of professional experience, he brings a holistic and deep passion for insight and leadership to every engagement.
Born in Mexico City and raised in Edmonton, Candice is passionate about bringing physical spaces to life. Candice has been a part of myriad projects across Canada, the United States, Asia, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. Although clients differ in size and nature, she brings the same level of enthusiasm and focus to each project ensuring their needs are met.
An avid traveler with an affinity for the great outdoors, Candice draws on natural landscapes and other cultures for her creative inspiration. When not buried in piles of swatches, she can be found traversing one of Edmonton's beautiful river valley trails or enjoying a smooth almond milk latte at her favourite neighbourhood coffee shop.
With a bright personality and always with a smile, Colleen monitors staff availability, routes phone calls and messages, and welcomes visitors to our studio. She continues to assist our office on a part-time basis while pursuing a degree in psychology.
Technical Specialist / Construction Administrator
C. Tech., CCCA, RSE
Over 30 years, Dale has gained experience on the construction side of our industry as well as the architectural side. He is a journeyman carpenter with red seal endorsement, a certified technician in construction engineering technology and a certified construction contract administrator.
Considerable experience on large projects with construction values exceeding $100 million has given Dale valuable insight into current practices and how to best implement appropriate project delivery strategies during various stages of a project. With a love for designing and building the clean lines of modern Scandinavian furniture and the geometric forms of Art Deco style, Dale brings his attention to detail from his shop to the efforts of design teams, client groups and contractors – maintaining design intent and keeping budgets in check
D.Arch Tech, BFA
Daniel is a diligent and hard-working architectural technologist who is skilled in the preparation of drawings, renders, 3D models, specifications, and the coordination of structural, mechanical and electrical designs of a project.
Daniel has exhibited sculptures and artwork in Edmonton and Montreal. A background in fine arts and experience as a construction administrator enable Daniel to effectively understand the needs of builders and other parties involved in executing an architect’s design.
Senior Technical Specialist
During his 46-year career, Danny has gained notable technical experience. Having worked on government and institutional projects early in his career, complimented by several years on his own, Danny joined what is now the KENNEDY team in 1999. His attention to detail and process-oriented delivery shows the great care he gives to each project, and the value he places on quality and a job well done.
Danny focuses on the technical development and detailing of projects and the flow-through of our technical design into the construction administration phase. One of the more complex and memorable projects he’s worked on was the City Archives, designing a building within a historic building.
Architect / Senior Technical Specialist

With over 43 years of experience in a rigorous architectural career, Dennis re-joined what is now KENNEDY in 1999. He brings to the studio an un-paralleled understanding in all construction methodologies, of mixed-use and multi-family, low-, mid-, and high-rise residential projects, post-secondary education organizations and client groups, high end retail and big box stores, and industrial and business offices.
His love of golf has contributed greatly to a number of clubhouse and recreation facility designs throughout Alberta over the years. As a part of KENNEDY’s Senior Specialist group, Dennis provides technical oversight and peer review for all our design teams and project output.

Senior Project Manager
As project manager, Jodi oversees the resourcing of all staff, building responsive project teams, as well as managing several projects and client portfolios. Her practical and pragmatic approach ensures our studio operates efficiently and stays on-target throughout project lifecycles. She loves music, and finding order in chaos, an ability she uses when orchestrating the various moving parts of each project.
Jodi has over 30 years of experience as a senior architectural technologist with a considerable portfolio of work in multi-family residential, civic, institutional, park and recreation facilities spanning a wide range of building sciences from wood frame and post and beam / heavy timber construction to concrete. An expert in the National Energy Code and Building Code, Jodi has also served as a sessional instructor at BCIT in the Architectural and Building Technology Diploma Program, and brings considerable technical asset to KENNEDY.
Armed with a background in communications, Kayla is a valuable asset to our proposal team and other project groups. Being an innate wordsmith and organizer, she is also a key figure in planning and executing many of our office social events, assisting with internal messaging, and welcoming new employees.
A mature and extremely responsible disposition allows Kayla to smoothly lead a variety of office administration initiatives. She has been perfecting this disposition for a while - it's no surprise she was often mistaken as being an older faculty member by her peers when she was a young student.
Marketing and Communications
Lindsey brings valuable skills and experience to KENNEDY’s communications and marketing group. She manages marketing efforts for high-profile projects, makes solid assessments of clients’ business needs, recommends and implements marketing strategies and tactics that educate and engage project stakeholders, community members, and target audiences.
Lindsey has developed multiple campaigns including the production of videos, creation of City Council presentations, large-scale event planning, print collateral, website content and email newsletters. Her big-picture thinking along with years of competitive swimming and ski racing, and later as a ski racing coach, provide her with the tools necessary to work toward and achieve ambitious client goals.
With nearly 20 years of experience as an architectural practitioner and senior designer in Mexico and Canada, Luis has had his designs built in 3 countries. He has an exceptional breadth of knowledge around process, efficiency, work planning and schedule flow, team management and resourcing.
Combining skills as both an experienced architect and contractor gives Luis a practical advantage in quality control reviews and performance. Luis remembers the first computer he used at work had punch cards and filled an entire room. He has watched technology advance over the years and has developed significant hands-on BIM experience including Revit and ARCHICAD, and is KENNEDY’s senior BIM advocate.
Marketing and Proposal Lead
A self-proclaimed lumberjack, Merlin is equal parts technical nerd and hands-on craftsman. His ongoing experience with post and beam timber frame construction compliments his training and skill set as an architectural technologist and enhances his already stellar problem solving abilities.
Merlin has a keen eye for the technical side of design and construction and prides himself on being able to develop design details and produce technical drawings with great clarity and precision. Always willing to go the extra mile, Merlin once rode his motorcycle to the top of Mount Washington.
Senior Project Manager

Growing up in a construction family, Michelle became familiar with blueprints and buildings at an early age. Post-secondary studies led her into a technical role for several years, where she advanced into production management and then complex project management. Attention to detail coupled with an efficiency-driven internal process make her a great asset to every team she’s on.
Michelle’s 30+ years in the industry includes project experience in cultural centres, airports, schools, banks, lab buildings, public buildings, hospitals, retail stores and shopping centres. She is a Lego architecture and classic car enthusiast and enjoys the management of projects with multiple complex (and fast) moving parts.
Senior Urban Planner
MCIP, RPP, MUP, BA, IAP2
A Registered Professional Planner, Nola brings clarity and efficiency to the planning and development process as a liaison between clients, sub-consultants and various municipalities. Having worked extensively as a Planner for the City of Edmonton, Nola thoroughly understands the municipal planning and development process.
Nola has contagious enthusiasm that permeates everything around her. A lover of urban planning and winter, she was a driving force behind Edmonton’s Winter Cities Design Guidelines and has been recognized as one of Edmonton’s Top 40 Under 40 by Avenue magazine for helping to make Edmonton a more liveable city.
Paige works alongside Brad, ensuring top-level directives are handled in priority. She coordinates between various clients, stakeholders, sub-consultants and team members, driving initiatives along a critical path.
A sense of adventure led Paige to study in Brazil and Japan, and she infuses that zest for life into her various roles as executive strategist. Drawing from a background in financial planning and marketing, Paige assists in the development and facilitation of project work plans and provides executive support that optimizes our team’s efficiency and responsiveness.

Rasti has a great range of project experience over his 19 years in the industry. He is competent with design, production, contract administration and is very experienced and comfortable working with all aspects of a project lifecycle. He has worked as a project manager leading project teams on multiple projects and developed great leadership skills.
Experience that shows his particular depth of knowledge includes managing projects for Canadian First Nations, and projects utilizing heavy timber. Rasti also has a solid technical understanding of unique building design where the primary structure is integrated as interior design.

A talented designer, Shahab is adaptable, ambitious, self motivated, confident and down to earth. During 6 years of professional practice he has honed and expanded his creative skills – contributing to several award-winning projects along the way.
Since joining KENNEDY, Shahab has been involved in the planning, study, schematic and design phases of several notable projects. One of his many talents is producing lightweight but striking renderings that give a sense of the scale, feel and aesthetic necessary for stakeholder buy-in and feedback.

Turning old furniture into refinished showpieces in her spare time, Thalisa uses this hands-on creativity to efficiently translate the vision of design concepts into effective drawing sets. With more than 10 years of experience in the planning and design of residential, civic, and commercial / retail projects, she is well-versed in the production of technical drawings and specifications.
Coming from a small prairie town, Thalisa knows how to play hard and work hard. One of her favourite adventures was a 10-day canoe trip through northern Saskatchewan.
Visual Communication / Industrial Designer
This farm-kid turned designer brings significant experience to our team in both visual communication and industrial design. Equally comfortable behind a screen, or prototyping in the shop, Tyler once created a sculpture for the unveiling of a new $10 Canadian polymerbill in Edmonton.
Working on in-house and client driven projects, Tyler ensures products, marketing materials and brand story have the creative capacity necessary to enhance user experience while maintaining style, consistency, and currency.
Architect / Senior Technical Specialist

With degrees in both architecture and civil engineering, and a love of world cultures - having travelled to more than 15 countries - Walter is able to understand projects from multiple viewpoints. He has 35 years of experience working in the architectural field, and has broad and deep experience with the technical aspects of building construction. A comprehensive resource and Senior Specialist on our team, he provides peer review support - and the occasional dry joke.
Also a lover of music, Walter has basked in the limelight at the Jubilee Auditorium while playing in an all accordion orchestra.
Currently a Master of Architecture student, Wesley has also earned Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Environmental Design degrees. He is curious and passionate about finding alternative methods of representation, striving to understand which tools are best suited for various projects in order to maximize efficiency.
