With a name change roughly every decade, this chartered professional accounting firm decided to bridge the legacy of the past and a vision for the future, breaking from the longstanding tradition of using partner names to construct their business namesake. KENNEDY led the firm’s 7 partners in the unanimous selection of a new name that best represented their business and values; and worked with regulatory bodies and legal teams to ensure that Metrix Group LLP was acceptable and available for registration.

Most recently known as Hawkings Epp Dumont LLP, the firm has grown significantly via mergers and acquisitions. To be sensitive to clients who may have experienced several changes in a short time, we recommended a path of incremental change. This involved retaining the existing logomark, and updating branding materials in a way that enhanced aesthetic appeal and minimized disruption. The largest transformations were realized in launching a new website and creating social media accounts. Collaborations included production of a video explaining the name change, and the development of a custom photography library for use on various platforms. Finally, we crafted and designed brand guidelines, internal and external announcements, and advertisements to get the word out in a timely and cohesive manner.
